Mission Style Grandfather Clock

This is a lovely example of a mission style grandfather clock.
Built between 1900 and 1905, it is an all wooden case and stand. The numerals and hands are solid brass. The chains for the clock weights is a "ladder" type chain. Wooden acorns are attached to the end of each chain.

It is an eight-day movement that strikes on the 1/2 hour and on the full-hour.

The movement is made by the Gilbert clock company and is in almost perfect condition, with no wear showing at the time this photo was taken.
